There is no place like Tahoe in the summertime. None. I recently snapped this picture on a hike with my daughter…it eludes a peace that is rare and priceless.

This beloved family home in sunny Meyers has an unexpected floor plan that creates space for everyone! Originally built in 1979 and substantially added on to in 1998, this 4 bedroom, 3 bath home has a master suite on each floor as well as creative living and bonus spaces to use as bedrooms, nurseries, or offices. Its beautifully landscaped setting includes a fully-fenced and sprinklered backyard with a large patio for entertaining and garden shed, adding to the already substantial storage throughout the home. With other thoughtful details like two staircases, two water heaters, and a large two-car garage, this spacious home will let your creativity shine.
The California Association of Realtors published that the over all market is down by 10% already this year. With housing prices that have reached the pre-bubble levels its hard to not worry about the bottom dropping out of the market once again. However, even with the precieved slow down this year is looking very similar to the previous statistics.

Fabulous weather and a few less people in town are the perfect combo for hitting the trails, beaches, resorts. This, by and far is my favorite month in Tahoe! The leaves are turning and the slight chill in the air is a welcome change.
I am born and raised in Nevada, but spent a great deal of time in South Shore when I was growing up because my Grandma lived in Tahoe-Sierra. She worked the morning shift at Cocking’s (now Remax) and evenings at Harvey’s Wagon Wheel. In the 90’s, I moved to Stateline and lived at the top of Kingsbury for many years. There are some trails at Heavenly that really have my heart. Today I got to spend some time in the mountains…I didn’t see a soul for miles and it was one of the most gorgeous days.
If you can tell me where this altitude marker is from, and you are first, I will send you a surprise! Email me, message me or track me down of Facebook to claim it!! I hope you get to enjoy this season while it lasts….it goes so quickly!!
